TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
Everything in one place, with regulation, website withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
